Roux First Block Tips (not finished) (too lazy to)

Notes from teoidus's video. All credits to him.

CFOP-y approach: (term used by teoidus) only use when easily seen with color scheme during inspection

  1. DL edge placed = F2L-esque pairs
    • dont be inefficient as F2L insertions
    • use disjointed pairs when possible
    • insert in examples
    • influence other pieces to be more efficient
    • Dont rotate to insert use the WHOLE CUBE
    • only use this approach when there is an absence of edge+center, edge+DL
  2. Found F2L pair with disjointed DL edge
    1. join DL, then pair= square
    2. Now find last F2L pair, insert
An example of #2:
Seeing this, you might want to insert doing the green side
But the DL edge (green white) is in an awkward place to work on.
Dismiss the use of that DL, and do the differing color (in this example: orange) and work with that DL
I got too lazy to finish this, so I'll publish this as is lol.

Also during inspection, plan out AT LEAST your first square (if applied) and track an edge or a corner DURING the solve. Dont watch what you already planned out. Track what you want. Hell yeah, Roux is so freakin awesome.
